What we liked
- + Four smoothers in four sizes, from about 14.5 cm long to compact paddles, cover flat tops, sides and tight spots.
- + The listing says to grab the handle and smooth along the surface, a simple motion that suits beginners.
- + Also listed for smoothing cream and jam on mousse cakes and breads, so the set is not limited to fondant.
Trade-offs
- - The listing says only 'high quality plastic' with no further material detail, so rigidity is not specified.
- - Brand is little known and the shapes are fairly basic, so no ergonomic or metal options are included.
