What we liked
- + Heat-laminated waterproof sheets, so buttercream practice can be wiped off and reused, per the listing.
- + Includes an adjustable stand with an angle range of 0 to 60 degrees, handy for matching a real cake or turntable position.
- + 23 sheets of tip and pattern templates, spiral bound so the book lies flat and stores on a shelf.
Trade-offs
- - Costs more than the basic paper-only practice sheets, since the stand and thicker pages add to the price.
- - Templates are fixed patterns, so it teaches the listed designs rather than free-form piping.
