What we liked
- + Four sizes from 6 to 12 inches, five of each, enough boards for several three or four tier cakes
- + Grease-proof surface, so the board under each tier does not soak through
- + Listing describes a sturdy core meant to hold heavy, multi-tiered cakes without bending or sagging
Trade-offs
- - Boards only: unlike the set it replaces, no dowels are included, so pair it with a dowel pick from this guide
- - The listing highlights do not give board thickness, and describe the material as both cardboard and MDF core
