What we liked
- + Flavorless gel avoids the bitter taste some liquid dyes leave
- + 15 colors strike a balance between variety and storage space
- + Vibrant concentrated tint suits bright kids party cakes
Trade-offs
- - Bright shades can stain fingers and plastic spatulas
- - Vibrant tints are harder to keep soft for pastel designs
