What we liked
- + Bundles a rolling pin, smoother and cutters, so beginners can cover a cake right away
- + Flower molds add quick decorations without learning hand modeling
- + Compact 11-piece kit avoids paying for tools a newcomer will not use
Trade-offs
- - Budget plastic tools feel lighter than pro-grade versions
- - Rolling pin in a small kit may be too short for large cake covers
