# Best Number and Letter Cake Toppers for Any Age or Name Source: https://cakedecornest.com/best/best-number-letter-toppers Updated: 2026-09-15 Publisher: Cake Decor Nest. Our score is an editorial rating out of 10 (fit 35%, features 25%, build 20%, value 20%), not a customer rating. Method: https://cakedecornest.com/how-we-research#our-score Number and letter toppers carry the whole message of a celebration cake, which makes their common failures especially annoying: numbers that lean backward in soft buttercream, glitter that transfers to fingers and frosting, and letters cut so thin they read poorly from any distance. The best versions combine a sturdy stick or base, a clean silhouette, and a finish that photographs well under party lighting. This guide compares glitter cardstock, acrylic, wood, and candle-style numbers and letters, with notes on which sizes suit a standard 8-inch cake versus a small smash cake. Whether you need a single bold digit for a milestone birthday or a full name spelled across the top, these picks stay upright and legible. ## Picks ### 1. 0-9 Number For Cake Topper, 20 Pcs Shiny Gold Acrylic Number Cake Toppers for Birthday Party Wedding Anniversary Our score: 8.6/10 (Fit for the job 9/10 · Features and specs 9/10 · Build and materials 7/10 · Value 9/10) A 20 Pcs shiny gold acrylic 0-9 number cake topper set for birthday, wedding and anniversary cakes.
